Nitrokey is a usb connected key storage device, for storing private keys. It is pin protected, and can also generate 2fa keys for secure sign on to websites/enterprise domains.
The 64gb of secure storage on the device is, I assume, pin protected. Unless you encrypt your entire hard drive and then put the key on the nitrokey, then loose the nitrokey, you should be good to use it for storage. *disclaimer….. never used one, just read the website, don’t cry to me if you encrypt your entire machine 🤣 Sent from my iPhone On Mon, 14 Oct 2024 at 08:32, Peter Merchant via dorset < dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk> wrote: > I got given this thing called a Nitrokey secure storage device a couple of > years ago and have never got up the nerve to use it.
