Sorry not to have stayed at the meeting but had no sound in or out
again. Even downloaded the Jitsi app but that made on difference. Wish
I could remember what I did last time to get sound back. That's for
later as :-
Whilst trying to locate the problem I managed to corrupt my Mint 21.3
Cinnamon display system. A small box comes up saying '/can't find
cinnamon-system, defaulting to fall back' / and all I get after pressing
'OK' in is a blank screen.
On top of that I can't find the USB stick with the Mint live on it!
Once I find the stick I'll download the latest version Mint 22 and get a
live version, then update the laptop.
Don't understand what I could have done to delete Cinnamon as I was only
looking at the sound apps. Perhaps I deleted part of cinnamon when
removing a sound app.
