I haven't abandoned the idea of doing this programatically, I just wanted to be sure we had at least one solution today so we knew we could move forward. At the end of the day, there will probably never be more than a dozen or so images to display and others who have an interest at WMT may prefer the Gimp (or Photoshop) approach. Having said that, if the programmatic solution is up and running, all they would need to do is grab the files and upload them to the designated directory on the Pi. I envisage the display routine cycling through the contents of a directory, just like we did with audio files for the MP3 player in the Minster. -- Terry Coles -- Next meeting: Online, Jitsi, Tuesday, 2020-09-01 20:00 Check to whom you are replying Meetings, mailing list, IRC, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk New thread, don't hijack: mailto:dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk
