And I read there's also Android and iOS programs in the relevant app store under the name ‘Jitsi Meet’. No idea how it will pan out, given so many of us won't have either tried Jitsi or having more than a few on the same call. Comments I've seen by others doing the same thing recently are - You can mute your microphone in Jitsi so your background noise doesn't contribute. - If muted, you can hold down Space to talk. - Similarly, your video can be cloaked. - And I think you can block audio or video from your view of others too. That might help if you think receiving too many video feeds is causing problems. It may be we split off into subrooms just to get the numbers down, and we could juggle who's in those every N minutes, e.g. dorset-lug-h and ...-t for heads or tails of a coin toss.
