I got a mail today telling me that Linux Journal is finally ceasing
publication, after an initial scare and revival in December 2017.

I remember years ago when I used to subscribe to the paper version, and
looked forward to a tech update every month.Much better quality than Linux
Format.

Saddening news. Not just because it was a good publication, but because its
demise says something about the place of Linux in the computing landscape.

You can read Kyle Rankin, the Tech Editor's announcement here
