Sadly, I won't be able to make the next meeting as I am currently working
up in London during the week.

@Victor/Peter: CyanogenMod is the biggest non official provider of Android
roms and is quite reliable http://www.cyanogenmod.org/

@Victor: Samsung Galaxy Ace phone is on the list of officially supported
devices by CyanogenMod http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Cooper_Info. However,
even then, you should research this before installing anything because the
official guide says it assumes Android 2.3 is running on the phone, but you
said yours is only Android 2.2..

@Peter: Archos 7 isn't on the list of officially supported devices by
CyanogenMod but nonetheless, some CyanogenMod roms are reported to work on
it. Your best bet is to search through the Archos fans support forums
http://forum.archosfans.com/viewforum.php?f=59&sid=2768886dc1224bf3e8490bfea247c1a2.
An example thread discussing this is
