That's your problem, right here. All this process should be automated. We have Travis CI in place that can do all the work (and tests !!!). There is no good reason to have this job done manually. But again, this requires time and energy and no one seem to care enough (I certainly don't anymore). Once upon a time, I drafted such a release process.
