This is a list of contributors. It covers the history of the project. It does
not specify current or past. It's just giving credit where due. That credit is
still due. *MOST* of the people in this list are not current contributors.

I'm not about to go through and designate whose contributions were "major" and
whose were not. That does not seem, in any way, a helpful designation. I will
not be removing Nórín's mention on this page.

The existing designation of "Other major contributors" goes back to the ancient
times, and, as I understand it, signifies people who were never formally part
of the committer list.

Regarding Joe's entry, I'm not sure when or why that was removed, but I don't
have current information for him. He can put that info in if he wishes.

This page is self-managed - that is, committers can, if they wish, put their
information in here. Or not, if they don't. The bulk edit earlier this month
was intended to clean up obviously wrong info, and PII. We can, of course,
discuss this further on the dev@ list if you like, but I relly do feel that the
page is as it should be. There is no consensus on the dev@ list as to what to
do with this page, and until there is, I'm not really inclined to spend a lot
of time on it. Just speaking for myself, I am *very* reluctant to remove any
citations or credit. This project is a group effort, and everyone's
contributions are important. I'm definitely not going to go so far as to
designate some as "major" or more important than others.
