Bug ID: 70093
Summary: RewriteCond Directive: TestString confusingly
specified in 2 lists
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.5-HEAD
Hardware: All
URL: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/en/mod/mod_rewrite
.html#rewritecond
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: Documentation
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
The RewriteCond Directive section of the mod_rewrite reference documents which
forms its first argument. The first list mention 4 different forms, including
Server variables. But confusingly, that list is not exhaustive. The section
reads:
> […]
>
> […]
>
> TestString is a string which can contain the following expanded constructs in
> addition to plain text:
> [Unordered list of 4 items]
>
> […]
>
> Other things you should be aware of:
> [Ordered lists of 6 items]
>
> [………]
The 5 last elements of the ordered list are also forms TestString can take. I
see no reason why these would be in a different list, and recommend merging
these into the unordered list.
