Greetings All;

As you may be aware, the Documentation Team is undertaking the task of
upgrading the old OOo 3.3 documentation and to keeping it current as we
move forward.

I would like to extend an open invitation to the i10n list to join us in
this endeavor. If there is interest in translating the documents as we
proceed, please send a response either here or to doc@ specifying the
language and I will add a folder to each of the for that language to
each of document branches on the git repository.

We are currently working on the Getting Started Which was updated to 3.4
and Published by Jean Hollis Weber. Jean graciously donated the draft
that she was in the process of updating to 4.1 for the Doc team to
finish and publish under our name.

If anyone would like to help in the updating of the English sources we
could always use the help. We are using Writer to update and maintain
the docs and the are under revision control using a separate
Documentation git Repository.

The doc team looks forward to working with the l10n team on moving the
effort forward and better serving the Documentation needs for all of our
users. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask here or
on doc@

Regards
Keith N. McKenna
