Francis; Part of the "Apache Way" is to give due credit to people that do the work. That is how you gain merit and that merit is how one can gain committer status. Right now I am the only committer active on documentation, therefore it is incumbent on me to make sure that anyone that contributes in any way gets the recognition that they deserve.
