Hi during a conversation on dev when comparing the LibO and AOO sites,
they show a few differences on the documentation related with
contribution. The argument is that a visual page proves to be easier
for newcomers to find the information they need.

Sadly I think the website is too text-oriented and a more visual
format would help. Not only on the ooo.apache but also on the wiki.
Where the build guide and other 'newbie' documents are very text
driven and a better use of visual notificationes like alerts, warnings
or notes could enhance the visibility and readability of the website.

I would even go into suggesting producing some videos that can show
more 'task' oriented tutorials related the setup of the environment,
particualrly in Windows.

Please let me know if there are other ideas and possible contribution
to give a facelift to these kind of documentation.

Regards
