Yes, certainly there are many differences between the two, some of
which speak to the challenges of DELEG when looked at through the lens
of DNSSEC.  The core point was that motivation as a factor can't be
overlooked, and DELEG looks to me to have coding and deployment
motivations more comparable to DoH than to DNSSEC.

Some things we deploy quickly on the Internet.  Some things drag.
Declaring at this stage that this will take 10 years to be practical
is an insufficiently supported assertion.

Where there's a whip, there's a way.  Er, where there's a will.
