An acquaintance wrote to me asking if there was anything to automate the kinds of DNS stuff that hosting and mail providers need their customers to do, like add A and AAAA records to point to web hosts, MX and TXT for mail (the TXT is for DKIM and SPF), and so forth, with some way for the provider to do it without getting full access to the registrar account for the domain.
He knows about Godaddy's Domain Connect that has been around since 2015 but hasn't gotten much traction. Anything else?
