I am also in favor of adoption.
I am a member of a consortium carrying out a study on behalf of ICANN on
the naming scheme used for the root servers (the RSSAC028 Implementation
study
<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/request-for-proposal-rssac028-implementation-1-11-2021-en>).
This is a follow up study of the Advisory from the ICANN Root Server
System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) RSSAC028
<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/rssac-028-03aug17-en.pdf>.
I expect that our work and the report we are currently in the process of
writing, will provide the means for well considered feedback and input
on this draft.
I am also voicing support for adaption on behalf of the other consortium
members: Moritz Müller and Marco Davids from SIDN and Yorgos
Thessalonikefs and Benno Overeinder (with consortium hat) from NLnet Labs.
