DNSOP People, We are forming teams of new-ish people to start working together to review drafts and pose comments on the list.
The first team to be formed is comprised of 2 people from Argentina / Costa Rica. They wish to study drafts in DNSOP. The discussions will be conducted in Spanish (prefer), English if need be. The first draft they are reading is: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-dnsop-nxdomain-cut-02 They are to read the draft and have 5 questions ready for discussion. (They have started.) The questions can be either things they do not understand, things they think need to be clearer in the draft or need to be fixed. The job of the mentor is to: 1. Lead the discussion in a webinar. For this draft, this is only 1 meeting of one hour each. (Other drafts may need less or more time) 2. If there are concepts that are not well understood by the team, the mentor will explain. 3. The end result of the discussion should be: - much better understanding of the draft by the team because of the discussion - questions to pose to the email list of the WG for things that are not clear in the draft or are seen as incorrect - one person in the team should post these to the email list. The mentor should work with the team by email to properly phrase the question. 4. Please reply to me if you can help. I will work with you to get this going. 5. If you have suggestions for what other drafts they might read. Pls let me know. 6. BTW, we have potential other teams in DNSOP(English), 6lo (Spanish / English), v6ops (Spanish), and BESS. These are not quite to the point of having a draft picked. The Roll team has picked a draft and is looking for a mentor. Thank you all very much for your help.
