When you try to explain to novices that the DNS matches going down the
tree, label by label, and that the top-most label is at the end, you
immediately get a question as to why the labels are in the wrong
order.  I've answered this question from people new to the DNS dozens
of times.  It might be, of course, that I am exceptionally bad at
explaining the concepts.  But it might be that JANET had it right.

Anyway, I think Mark's argument has convinced me that there's a much
better way to lay this out.  Thanks for the comments.
