The draft does not really demonstrate what it purports to demonstrate.
Or rather, it mis-casts the problems that have been asserted for dotless
domains. It purports to contradict concerns about:
"...the problems that the DNS is likely to experience with top-level
domains..."
However there has been little question about the ability to /publish/
RRs under TLDs.
The question is with their usability.
And the draft offers no data that runs contrary to the IAB paper's
concerns or the other concerns that have been raised in various public
discussions.
