For what it is worth:

I assume we all want to have dnsmasq in good condition.
We even might want to have improvements. For both needs the project
to get changes. The good thing is that changes are proposed,
but the patches a.k.a. proposed changes are currently ignored.

I think it should not be that way (ignoring patches).
