nevermind :-) I ended up finding out from the openwrt forum post <https://forum.openwrt.org/t/dhcp-being-stubborn-keep-getting-wrong-subnet-ip-even-with-a-static-lease-set-up/171987/13> i made that the cause of this ended up being me trying to use dhcp-option-force in the multi-instance deployment vs the single one.. apologies for the noise!
