That is something I will definitely check into, I kind of forgot that I could even do multiple domain searches. I would like to find a way to do it on the servers rather than the workstations (only 3 as opposed to 20). I know, both windows and Linux will allow for hard coded entries, but If I could find a way to DHCP them, that would work well. Right now, I am accomplishing what I want just by making each server use the other servers as upstream dns servers. The only problem with this is that I have to remove the "domain-needed" and "bogus-priv" configuration options which has the risk of creating more load on the "real" upstream dns servers, so I would like to change this if possible.

I've never had a need to do this on unix, but it appears Windows can (though I don't know if these can be set by dhcp server and/or hardcoded on windows w/ a dhcp address). Might be something to look into. Also would have to crank down the DNS TTL ... Let us know if you find a solution.
