As announced last weekend and subsequently in the post-AGM announcement email to members we are currently requesting nominations for PC members for 2025.

Please note that the Board has approved an update to the PC Charter, where the most significant change is that the standard term will now be four workshops, rather than one year, with a maximum period of two consecutive terms.

To help ensure continuity of experience on the PC we shall also be having overlapping terms, so that only half of the PC members' terms will expire at any one time. There'll be a transitional period as we move to this scheme and the exact mechanism for balancing the members' terms to create the desired overlap is TBD.

The updated PC charter is at:

There is also a new document that lists the overall procedures involved with organizing a workshop showing the division of responsibilities between the PC and the DNS-OARC staff:

  <https://www.dns-oarc.net/oarc/workshop-working-procedures>

Prospective PC candidates should read the above document so as to understand the requirements and expectations of PC membership.

Nominations (which may be self nominations) should be emailed to <pc2...@dns-oarc.net> no later than 8th November.

The Board is scheduled to make its selection on 15th November, with the first meeting of the new PC scheduled for 15:00 UTC on Tuesday 26th November.

thanks,

Ray Bellis
DNS-OARC Board Liaison to the PC.
