Hi,
Thank for your reply
Yes we’re using BIND for primary and secondary DNS servers and I wonder that in
the case of primary dns server’s BIND version(9.9.1.3-P3) is different the
secondary BIND version(9.6.1), is it possible any problem between primary and
secondarys like zone transfer etc.?

Hi All,
We have a primary and few secondary DNS server. I want to know if I just
upgrade my primary dns server to the 9.9.1-p3 and secondary servers stay on
9.6.1, the zone transfer between primary and secondary will work properly ? I
just upgrade my test dns server to 9.9.1-p3 and it seems work good, if the zone
transfer will be ok I'll upgrade prod DNS server.

I guess you're using BIND ? :)
Well, that's zone transfers, so of course it will still work!
You can even have your master server running BIND, and transferring to other
DNS servers (NSD, MS, ...) or the other way around.

Nicolas.
