Pretty nearly universally, ja.

And by the way, if you ever see a DHCP-client host 'getting a lease' of
a 169.254.0.0/16 IP address (the range 169.254.0.1 to 169.254.255.254),
then that means the lease request failed and the device has fallen back
on auto-IPing, a quasi-standard Microsoft invented called Automatic
Private IP Addressing (APIPA) that I personally consider a dumb idea but
