I know you were joking but in fact it should be systemd-free, as I understand it. If WSL2 is only a kernel and a small bootstrapper then whether or not systemd gets installed will depend on the userland that people choose to put on top of it. Devuan is a possibility! Er.... I think that's how it is, anyway. All that is until systemd gets built into the kernel by Red Hat and everyone else follows suit. ;-) -- Mark Rousell
