It looks to me as if this is indeed the computer's IP address... just the loopback one, slightly mangled:

- 127.0.0.1 => 0.127.1.0 i.e. 007f0100
or
- 127.0.1.1 => 0.127.1.1 i.e. 007f0101 I tried changing the IPaddress on my loopback interface, but the returned hostid didn't change.
