Hi Harald, I have been on Beowulf for about 9 months now, and gimp (2.10.8-2) works absolutely fine. Is your machine a rpi, by any chance? In that case, you should still keel archive.raspberrypi.org enabled, and get the libgegl packages from there. I had a similar issue with kodi, and using the packages rebuilt for rpi solved the problem.
