Hello, Friend Citizen! Would you like to learn about open source? The
first lesson is: Open source rights need attach only to source code.
If developers apply buttheaded restrictions on official binaries
compiled and distributed by Moonchild Productions, that is neither
relevant to open source not a significant problem because, hi, we're the
open source world, and we have compilers.

The second lesson is the open source rights need attach only to
unbranded builds. If developers apply buttheaded restrictions on any
builds using the official name or logo, that is neither relevant to open
source nor a significant problem because, he, we're the open source
world and can easily supply names and logos of our own.

Offered for your consideration: the name 'Brightsun'. Finding a
permissive-licensed logo of a bright sun is left as an exercise for the
reader, and is in short not brain surgery.

But, but, but: 'Brightsun won't start out with high name recognition.'
(I promise to duly cry a river over this.)

May I lend you a compiler? Two? They're cheap.
