Hi all, I have a feeling this is a qemu problem because the whole qemu interface gets hung, but I want to see if any of you have witnessed this before...
I installed Ascii 64 bit from network install on a qemu vm guest with -soundhw hda -device intel-hda. Plays music out of my host's speakers for a few seconds, the music stops and then the whole Ascii OS hangs, and I'm pretty sure the qemu gui hangs too. If I don't include -soundhw hda -device intel-hda, I cannot get it to hang. When it hangs, once every few minutes another 1/4 second of music plays. The qemu error message "qemu-system-x86_64: warning: I/O thread spun for 1000 iterations" sometimes appears with the symptom, and the symptom's much more likely to appear when I'm playing a youtube video than when I'm running speaker-test, but I *have* seen it happen while running speaker-test.
