Hi, are you sure you are not mixing up repositories? I have jessie backports configured, and if I try to pull freecad apt would install version 0.16+dfsg2-1~bpo8+1. You can check where your package would be pulled from by using: apt-get install --simulate freecad which will perform a dry run. In my case it says: .... Inst freecad (0.16+dfsg2-1~bpo8+1 jessie-backports:1.0.0/jessie-backports [amd64]) ....
