Purpose:

KVM Box

Installed via USB stick as downloaded from:

First issues with text installer and USB keyboard -- everything stopped
working before I could get anywhere with the installer, so I changed
keyboard to a more generic one.

Install went fine, but couldn't enter pass phrase to unlock encrypted
volume with lvm root on it. Rescue shell to the... rescue, added in a
bunch of drivers to /etc/initramfs-tools/modules file and rebuilt initrd

Standard USB keyboard worked fine for crypto unlock, but the other
keyboard I wanted to use still didn't work (Roccat gaming keyboard).

Added more modules and it was fine too.

Okay, the install was as little as possible, just enough to get started,
it is, after all, meant for just as a KVM host.

Added dropbear, no issues. Now box is completely headless, no keyboard
needed.

Hope this helps someone get started with Devuan.

Next steps, installing a KVM guest as a webserver, with text install via
virt-install tool.

Kind Regards
AndrewM
