I'd think lxde as a metapackage already pulls in all what is needed for
the lxde desktop - also in Devuan. Or are there some hidden
dependencies on systemd which need to be overwritten?

Task-lxde-desktop and task-xfce-desktop *break* with the kernel 4.3.5, which i'm using currently. So, i removed those packages from my system.

And speaking of kernels, the kernel 4.5 builds successfully in jessie, but it's impossible to build the minipackages for d-i because there are a lot of them with common modules *.ko, as i explained in another thread. This is due, i think, to the version of kernel-wedge and gcc. The backports of jessie include gcc-5 and kernel-wedge-2.94 (in jessie, the versions are gcc-4.9 and kernel-wedge-2.90).

But i never use any backport...

Cheers,

  Aitor.
