I installed devuan today while in the USA, and was properly prompted for a selection of USA timezones. That starts out as a good feature, as many other installers just offer all timezones. However, the devuan subset wasn't labeled in conformance with the names of the IANA tzdata database[1], which has me suspicious there might maybe possibly be a bug in how the timezones are being set.
