For those who want them it's trivial to add to sources.list, much easier then to apt-pin them out of the way if one does not want to use them. Freedom of choice, etc. And in the unlikely case that some multimedia package from dmo gets the systemdisease, there are several possible ways to tackle that, without unconditionally merging the whole dmo repository.
