That doesn't worry me much at this stage as unlike at the higher layers where SD support seems to result in support for certain other APIs being removed, the kernel has gained all sorts of features over the years that are either compile time options or modules. Given Linus' track record, I don't see kdus forcing other RPC code to be removed. Do you?
