I'll try it if it ever gets into the devuan repos or someone builds a deb for me. I haven't tried installing something from source in years and IIRC, wasn't that successful at it. I once built a deb using this tut but I don't know if it's out of date (from 2009). http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=38976 For the moment, I'll either deal with pulseaudio (disgusting) or maybe try running the windoze version of avidemux in wine, (The Linux qt version is not a pretty sight. Unfortunately, no more gtk version . . . bummer).
