@golinux, Understand what you are saying, but I believe there are several distros, trying to stay away from systemd, that will adopt Devuan as a base once it produces a clean base install.
Devuan will produce a full blown desktop distro in the future, but I believe there will be Devuan based distros before Devuan gets around to it They already have the infrastructure in place. There are people using the Devuan repos already for those pieces that help them continue to run Jessie without systemd.
