As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, isohybrid did the trick. What I don't know is whether the isohybridized version of the .iso would still work on a CD. If so, it might be effective just to distribute the hybridized version of the .iso. If not, we should possibly distribute both. An instruction to use isohybrid is unlikely to be useful to a complete beginner who does not yet have a Linux xytem available. Of course, this was a pre-alpha.
