Thanks Tom for clarifying this point! For now I went the way of recalculating the navigation and get the expected results also with Apache. After hours scratching my head, this was actually a 3 liner: instead of calculating the results in the first place, pass the navigation app a function pointer, which contains the code for result calculation...
