It's not so simple as a subscriber with a dreamhost ID but rather (I'm guessing) involves some forwarding that is going on. It would be easier to figure out if the dreamhost bounce message included the headers from the mail that triggers it, but hopefully dreamhost support has now been able to identify the problem ID and block it. I suppose I'll find out for sure when I do or don't get a bounce message in response to this post.
