can you provide your buildout or a sample of your project on git or
similar to reproduce it?

im using buildout for almost all my django projects and apps and i never
make eggs for my apps. so you basically dont really need a setup.py.

in my point of view its not hard to set up django with buildout. its a
lot easier than putting all your apps in the systems pythonpath!
but i agree that you have to know how buildout works.

as i said im not a friend of putting stuff into the system pythonpath
because if you start having more than one project on the system it will
get a bit "dirty"
