I have got good results with Eclipse + Pydev pluging + Aptana and 
working on Ubuntu GNU/Linux or Centos (RedHat)

eric4 has a nice django plugin that you might like...

http://eric-ide.python-projects.org/

It's mainly for pyqt but the django plugin works as expected.
