Hi Sam,

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, our VISTA systems are so locked
down that I can't adjust any of the advanced settings in IE7. Don't
even get me started on how irritating our corporate IT is...

At any rate, I was able to install Fiddler2 on a thumb drive and run
it from there. It appears that my problem was in my response headers
(see: http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler/Perf/AboutVary.asp), given that
I am making use of compressed javascript files. As soon as I modified
my MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES in settings.py to include
'django.middleware.gzip.GzipMiddleware', 'Accept-Encoding' was added
to my Vary header, and the problem was resolved.

Thanks again, Sam!

-Joann
