Can't really help you, but I have two things:
* For Postgres, psycopg2 installs fine using pip, but *you need to have the
Postgres tools on your $PATH*
* PIL shouldn't be needed if you use buildout correctly (with the dependency
list thingy), that would – I think – be redundant.
