From settings.py

MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES = (
     'django.middleware.common.CommonMiddleware',
     'django.contrib.sessions.middleware.SessionMiddleware',
     'django.contrib.auth.middleware.AuthenticationMiddleware',
     'django.contrib.csrf.middleware.CsrfMiddleware',
)

I added the last line and restarted the server. Same result.
