Hi all, I was wondering if there is built-in support for updating only selected field(s) when calling model.save(). When I call save() on the object, django call SQL UPDATE for all fields of the model, which is not ideal from performance point of view. I've found this snippet: http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/479/
But I'm asking myself if there is django built-in solution for this problem, or better trick ?
