i've actually have semi success in getting django to work on godaddy. It displays the "Congratulations on your first Django-powered page." You will have to be signed up for the linux shared hosting Deluxe or higher plan in order for fastcgi to be enabled. I can show you how to get it up and running but the only problem is that once it is up and running you can't do anything with it because the pysqlite2 and python bindings for mysql aren't installed making django useless. I'm trying to see if godaddy tech support will "yum install python-sqlite2" but i really doubt it. They keep trying to upsell me to a VPS. I've been at them for 2 weeks now... :-/
