The first step would be to ask on the appropriate mailing list. This is the Django users mailing list. Your problem, and all the traces and messages you have provided, are related to pgpool. If there is a connection to Django here, I can't see it. There might be someone on this list that can help, but you're going to get a lot more milage asking on a pgpool specific mailing list.
