You should be able to use the MySQL database that comes with your hosting plan, so long as they run a suitable version, which they should. Which hosting company do you use? Also, I get the feeling you're new to Web programming ... and running Django apps is a much more advanced task than coding HTML. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I don't mean to be a jerk, but that's just the vibe I got.
Even if you are new to Web programming (again, forgive me if I'm wrong), people in django-users will help you out. But posts like this are already answered in the Django documentation.
