1) From the FAQ (http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/faq/install/): Q: Should I use the official version or development version?¶ A: [...] we recommend that you use the latest development code, because it generally contains more features and fewer bugs than the “official” releases.
2) From Django 1.1 beta 1 release notes (http://docs.djangoproject.com/ en/dev/releases/1.1-beta-1/): this release is not intended for production use, and any such use is discouraged. Ain't them contradicting? Will someone please comment where the truth lies? P.S.: personally I'm studying Django through its SVN trunk and from reading The Book v2.0. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
